AFRICA LEAD SEEKS SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER FOR EAST AFRICA ** AUGUST 11, 2015 DEADLINE

Africa Lead is seeking a senior program manager to oversee the design, planning, implementation and monitoring of the East Africa program. Because of the broad nature and complexity of issues and institutions addressed by Africa Lead, the position requires outstanding conceptual, technical design and management skills. The East Africa Program Lead will have primary responsibility for leading and overseeing regional program activities. Application deadline is August 11, 2015. Implementing Africa’s Commitments on Food Security, Agriculture, and Nutrition

Dr. Abebe Haile Gabriel, Director of Rural Economy and Agriculture for the African Union, recently delivered a webinar about Africa’s commitments to transformation. The presentation clearly defines the plans and initiatives that are being put in place to implement the Malabo Declaration. The presentation shows what makes the Malabo Declaration different from past initiatives, and highlights the importance of engagement by all stakeholders to reach the goals by 2025.
